We recently travelled to London to deliver and install two Havn booths for All People All Places (APAP), creating comfortable, semi-private spaces within their workplace for conversations, meetings and focused work.
About All People All Places
All People All Places is a London-based homelessness charity supporting people across Enfield and Haringey who are experiencing homelessness or facing housing crisis.
The charity provides direct, face-to-face support through services including its day centre, casework, advice and advocacy. Its work ranges from providing immediate respite for people sleeping rough to helping individuals navigate housing, benefits and other services, with the wider aim of helping people build a future free from homelessness.
The Project
APAP needed additional spaces that could provide a greater degree of privacy within their existing environment without the disruption and permanence of constructing new meeting rooms.
Our Havn booths provided a simple solution.
Two booths were manufactured at our workshop in Exeter before being transported to London as individual components and assembled on site.
Havn's modular construction means the individual panels can be moved through standard doorways and into existing buildings before being assembled in their final position. This makes it particularly useful where creating a conventional meeting room would require building work or alterations to the space.
Two Booths, Installed in a Day
Both Havn booths were assembled and completed during a single installation.
Each booth provides a comfortable four-person space with integrated lighting and power, upholstered seating and acoustic panels to create a more enclosed environment while retaining a connection with the surrounding space.
Because Havn is freestanding, the booths can also be repositioned in the future as the organisation's requirements change.
A Flexible Alternative to a Meeting Room
For APAP, the finished booths provide dedicated spaces for conversations and focused work within the existing building, without requiring permanent construction.
We're particularly pleased to see Havn being used by an organisation carrying out such valuable work in its local community.
